Maplewood Nursing Home Addition (Webster, NY)

Design Description

This proposed facility is a one story addition to the existing structure of approximately 18,000 square feet. Approximately 11,800 square feet of that area is to have a concrete slab-on-grade first floor with the remaining 6200 square feet to be a structural slab over a full depth basement with reinforced concrete masonry foundation walls. The addition also includes an elevator shaft, covered porch and drive thru on the east side. The roof system design was accomplished using a light gauge metal structural system.
