2017 Banner Year for HSE!
We are pleased to announce that this year we are celebrating our 35th Anniversary!
HSE began in 1982 by Ronald A. Samsel, PE. In 1989, the firm incorporated and changed its name to Samsel, Herrick, Saylor Engineers, PC. With the retirement of Mr. Samsel in 1991, Jay R. Saylor and Floyd Herrick, Jr., became principal owners and changed the name of the company to Herrick-Saylor Engineers, as it is known today. In 2011, David T. Finkbeiner replaced Mr. Herrick as a principal owner. This year, we are pleased to announce that Jeffrey W. Hurd has been promoted to Associate Principal. The company has grown over the years in the number of professional engineers and staff. We now have a client base that serves the entire Northeastern United States. We provide services for over $150 million in construction projects on an annual basis.
HSE continues to grow as a structural engineering company, and was rated as one of the 2017 Largest Engineering Firms by the Rochester Business Journal!
We want to thank our friends and colleagues in the fields of architecture, engineering, construction, real estate, commercial industries, government and retail in helping us to achieve this important milestone. We look forward to providing another 35 years of structural engineering services to all our valued clients.
